Drawing inspiration from studying the great masters Clark’s interests were drawn to the study of shape and the simplicity of form. In response to our reactions when viewing modernist architecture and sculpture, Clark was inspired to create minimalist patterns of elegant shapes, in muted tones to give a blend of modern and calm opulence.
